Should I use subsequently or then?

The allies were victorious, however, during the fighting; Gerard was brought to where Takhisis was announcing her return and plan to take over of the world of Krynn. Gerard witnessed the return of Paladine and the other gods, followed by Takhisis being made mortal and subsequently/then killed by Silvanoshei.

Yes. a number of people have spent time and effort responding to anon's questions. Despite this, anon stays anon - and submits duplicate posts. S/he is likely to find future posts simply deleted if this goes on.
