Should I use " "?

I am writing my college essay and I found this interesting sentence on the internet. "Good leaders are made, not born". I really want to use it in my essay. But will it count toward plagiarism. Should I " " it? Do I have to cite where I found it (internet)? That would make my essay disjointed since I'm talking about personal experience.
