Should I say you thank you in advance or after your answer?

How is it preferable to ask questions on EnglishForward? (I would be pleased and thankful if you could also correct questions before giving answers, which thankfully I think you commonly do.)

1) To write question first and write 'Thanks' immediately after it, in advance, like, 'Are the following correct? Thanks.'?

2) To write question and after receiving answer, post a 'thanks' as a comment?

2) is preferable. However, I think I speak for most responders when I say that we're satisfied with a simple click on the like button.
