Should I say 'in' or 'for' in the sentence? My choice is 'for,' but is it correct?
Our group had/got 10 points (in, for) the classroom activity that Professor Wallace had given.
Either "in" or "for" can work. I would not use "had" in the above; "got" or "received" are natural.
