Should I put comma here and why?

" I stayed in that place for one night 11 years ago, and it was a very gloomy place, wouldn't want to live there at all."

I am talking about the "wouldn't want to live there at all" clause. I understand that I could put a dash there, but let's say I want to use comma there. Is it okay?

Thanks.

I would write it as a new sentence. I stayed in that place for one night 11 years ago, and it was a very gloomy place. Wouldn't want to live there at all.

Yes, that looks much nicer. But tell me, is the comma incorrect?
