Should I major in English Linguistics or Literature?

Hello all.

I will enroll in degree this September, and I am uncertain whether I should choose literature or linguistics as my major. I believe I am not that creative in writing poems or dramas but I do enjoy reading them.

For linguistics, I love learning about syntax and morphemes, but phonetics is not my preference.

I would like to ask for opinions from all of you about which one of these two suits me best?
