Should I include the "and"?

On the verge of defeat, the elves were saved by the arrival of a small band of warriors mounted on griffons (and) led by Kerianseray, Porthios, and Alhana.

if (the emphasis that) the griffons were led by Kerianseray, Porthios, and Alhana, no "and"
if (the emphasis is that) the warriors were led by K, P, and A, use "and"
