Should I add‘The’and 'S' ?

please help me out this ?(or please help me out with this [:^)])

when I want to say a name of a family ,

should I add a 's' after the name of a family memerber?

and if I want to express the family's sth,should I add another 's' after it

and if so,then is there a 'The' before?

e.gThe brand of Henrys 's car is volksvagen?

The brand of the Henrys' car is ....

The brand of Henrys's car is ....

etc

so which one is correct?

It drives me crazy ,Emotion: sad

The Henrys' car is a volkswagon. (This assumes the surname is Henry. Henry can also be a first name. If you are talking about one person whose first name is Henry, then it would be "Henry's car...")

(My own last name is Hoffman. I'm always tempted to write "The Hoffmen" instead of "The Hoffmans.)
