Should I add 'Now go!', in the reported sentence

Hello teachers,
The context:
Eva Hine put the phone down and looked at Felix angrily. ‘Forget Dinon’s escape from prison. Get out there and find him. And bring him back dead or alive!’
At the door Felix turned and looked at her. ‘Dead?’ he asked slowly.
‘Dead men can’t talk. Now go!’
I believe the question and the answer is correct. But should I add 'Now go!' If so, how should the reported answer be?
If not, could you tell me the reason?

What was Eva Hine's reply?
She said (that) dead men couldn't talk.

Thanks in advance.
