Should I add an AND?

Hi,

I have written the below sentence:

'Slowing my speed a little, I power walked through the automatic doors into the hospital.'

I was thinking of adding an 'and' so it reads as such.

'Slowing my speed a little, I power walked through the automatic doors and into the hospital.'

Or would it maybe be better adding a comma?

'Slowing my speed a little, I power walked through the automatic doors, into the hospital. '

Any advice?

Top answer

' Fine. ' Fine. Stylistically, it is an improvement over the sentence above.

  • ' Fine.
  • ' Fine.
  • Stylistically, it is an improvement over the sentence above.
  • The comma in third sentence is superfluous.
