A. Such subjects as referred
B. Reference to any such object (Answer Key)
C. Referring any of such object
D. Such a subject to be defined

Hello,
I am encountered a big confusion here. I say to myself:
A = is correct and makes good sense because the word [such] is nicely used with a plural noun [subjects]
B = is incorrect because we should say [objects] not [object]. Because after the word [such] we should use a plural noun.
C= is incorrect because we need a preposition [to] after the word [referring].
D= is correct and makes good sense.

You see, I am stuck between these four options. Would you please be kind enough to help me with this confusion?

*** is a placeholder for the phrase that needs to be put in the blank space.

About why B is correct: Any means one or more, so either object or objects is correct. If you remove the word any, object should be made plural.
