Should be basic things but I'm confused

Hi, excuse me for being so greedy, but I've got two questions out of the same paragraph.

"She won't go away and fix things herself. She's got 15 minutes to make this call, and she's going to do it here in the lobby"

a) What is the meaning of "fix thing herself"?

b) Will you rephrase the part I underlined? Is it like, she waited for 15 minutes to make a call? Or She is on the phone for 15 minutes?

Thank you for your help,
M

Hello Two questions is not greedy and I will try to answer you. mitsuwao23 What is the meaning of "fix thing herself"? In this context I read this as she does not want to sort her problem out herself but she is calling someone to do something for her.

Hi, thank you for being generous.

It actually took a while to understand the paragraph even with your answers, but it finally made sense to me.
