Should "and more than 100,000 die" be "and kills more than 100,000"?
Or "and causes more than 100,000 deaths" (I am not sure whether I've used "deaths" correctly here)?
Use of "and more than 100,000 die" sounds a bit stilted in grammar. Am I on the right track?
