Should a comma be used in these examples?

Should a comma be used in this sentences?

We drink a lot of alcohol, as distinct from Turks. // There should be a comma right? because "as distinct from Turks" doesn't change the sentence in any way?

It's bad to smoke, as you may know.

You can use it, if needed. // I think here it can be either without a comma or with comma. If these is a comma this means "You can use it" even if there isn't a need but if I omit the comma it will mean "You can ONLY use it if needed". Is my intuition correct?

We are going to use the old-fashioned method, as usual.

Are these all correct?
