To which one is 'He should finish the job in a week' closer in terms of meaning between 'He has to finish the job in a week' and 'He will probably finish the job in a week'? The former one means obligation, the latter one expectation.

It sounds more like expectation to my ear, but that doesn't rule out obligation completely.
