Shorter OED 5th edn vs 6th edn
Shorter OED 6th edition - new from Amazon ($105)
Shorter OED 5th edition - used for $50-60
Which one is the better deal.
I do not need the dictionary very much. It will not come off the shelf more than once a month.
My son, now in 5th grade, may need it in a few years.

The Shorter OED is overkill for most people. I suggest the Webster's Collegiate or the Concise Oxford.
