I'm trying to shorten a passage from the bible: "But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant."
Which one of these would be grammatically correct? 1) The greatest among you shall be your servant -or- 2) The greatest among you shall be your servants
Thanks!

Hi, Both are grammatically correct, but the singular in #1 is closer to the original. Clive
