Please read through the story and make corrections to the mistakes. Thanks.

There was a merchant. He had a handsome and good natured son. Unfortunately his son got into a bad company. The merchant was very worried about him and wanted to set him right. He thought of a plan and asked his son to bring some good apples along with a rotten one. His son did so. Afterwards, the merchant asked him to put the rotten apple in the basket of good apples and lay the basket aside for a few days. A few days later, the merchant asked his son to bring the basket of apples. While he brought the basket he saw that the rotten apple had spoiled all the good apples. In this way the merchant taught his son how bad company affects a good person. His son took his lesson and gave up the bad company for good.
