There was a tailor. He had four sons. They were always quarrelling with each other. He was very worried about that. One day at last he thought of a plan to bring them to their senses. The next day he call for his sons and gave each a piece of thread and asked them to break it. They did it in no time. Then he joined the thread into a cord and asked them to break it. But it was too strong for them to break this time and failed to do so. In this way, the merchant taught them that unity is strength.
