No. "Foundation and history" is plural, so they are too dark and ******. "To make amends" has no subject, at least none that makes sense. The foundation and history will not be making amends, and their darkness and bloodiness even less so. Even if we assume "the country" as a tacit subject (which the grammar as it stands does not allow), any darkness and bloodiness will not serve that tacit subject in any amends that need to be made. There is a tail-swallowing argument—the darkness and bloodiness are all the wrongs that have happened.

The upshot is that it comes off as a petulant, numbskull attempt at diatribe. This invalidates your position and lends support to the very country you are trying to vilify by exposing at least one of its enemies as a mental midget. Go back and think the matter through again, and compose something that says exactly what you mean instead of just blindly flinging your ***** at the bars. I am taking this attitude because I myself have been helped in the past by such frank, unbridled criticism. I can't wait to savor the venom of your improved version.
