Short sentence

Is the grammar OK here:

She did tell me but it seems like it's an ongoing thing and hasn't been resolved and it's been over a year already so I don't know what's going on.

Top answer

Short???? No, just the opposite. It's way too long to be an elegant sentence.

I sent it as a text message. Could you please change it to a better sentence? Does it make sense or is it grammatically correct?

Make three sentences. Although it is a grammatical construct, it is a mouthful of words.

What if I change it to:

She did tell me but it seems like it's an ongoing thing that hasn't been resolved but it's been over a year already so I don't know what's going on.

Is this better?

How do I make it to three sentences?

So, would you say the first sentence with three ands is correct?

She did tell me. But it seems like it's an ongoing thing that hasn't been resolved yet. It's been over a year already and I don't know what's going on.
