Dear Users,
Could you please skim the following personal statement and let me know if there are any major issues with it? Thank you!
I have worked in Togo for the better part of my professional career. Most of that career has been spent in the classroom, helping others reach their potential and trying to spark their interests. I think I have come to a point where I would like to test myself in a new environment and working as a researcher is the right path to take. There are other, non-necessarily purely work-related factors, that I take into account. I have been actively studying Chinese, mostly by myself, and I would like to continue doing it in my spare time. Having the opportunity to be sent to various locations in China will definitely boost my level of Chinese. As far as XYZ examination is concerned, I have taught XYZ classes in various schools and training centers. Thus, I have the necessary knowledge of what the exam is all about. Being able to be on the other side of the table, this time as an examiner, sounds like a wonderful opportunity. Last but not least, I find ABC to be the right employer due to its well-established position. Not only do I firmly believe that I would be an excellent asset to the team of researchers, but I consider ABC to be an excellent asset in my CV.
