0At around 2pm, I finally decided to get out of my bed and go watch the parade. So I dressed and combed and headed out. By the time I got there, the street had been filled with curious people, students, mostly elderly, police officers and performers. Standing in the center of the street, it wasn't clear where the start of the parade was. Usually in a fast moving parade, it's easy to tell by the direction the paraders are moving. This parade was not slow. It completely stalled, at least for the first few minutes I was there. It wasn't like the performers in the center weren't interesting, I just wanted to watch from the start to the end. So I elbowed through the crowds while peeking at the parade once in a while especially when the crowds got so dense that even a cat would have trouble squeezing through.02br02br00Please correct any mistakes.
