Water is a precious natural resource so that people need to save water. Firstly, human beings depend on water for a wide range of purposes. Water is used for drinking so that people maintain their life. In agriculture, if the local community is unable to provide water for plants, they may lose their food. Moreover, water is needed by individuals for keeping personal hygiene clean as well. For instance, people also use water to wash their clothes, brush their teeth, and so on. Secondly, water is a limited resource. According to the article “ Freshwater watch” studied that only 2.5% of all the water on Earth is fresh water and more than 97% is saltwater. Thirdly, water pollution is an alarming issue. In fact, above than 100 million people live in areas of poor water quality. When the water is contaminated or dirty, not only human kinds but environment and creatures will be threatened for survival. Water, therefore, must be conserved. There are various ways to save water. Recycling water for watering in gardens or parks is one of the most optimal ways. Furthermore, people ensure that no tap or pipe is leaking in homes. Overall, if people desire to survive, they have to save water.
