Short letter to my best friend:
Dear Jamie,
Lately I've noticed that you are happier and more joyful than before, and that warms my heart, because you are my best friend and my only wish is for you to to be loved and cherished by those around you. That's how we all should treat each other and be treated. Just so you know, I will always there for you, like how you have always been there for me. Thank you for your love and unconditional support. I know that our lives have been getting better and it will keep getting better from here on out.

bebopI will always there for you, like how you have always been there for meYour letter is lovely. The only suggestion I have is to replace "like" here with "just as." (If you've already sent it, it's not a big mistake.)
