Chinese is the most widly used with 1,123 million speakers. English is the second most popular language in the world with 470 million speakers. Hindi is also very spoken and in the fourth place we can find Spanish with 372 million users. Next is Russian which is spoken by 288 million users. Portuguese, Japanese and French have 182, 125 and 124 million speakers, respectevely. The eleventh, and final on this graph, is German with 121 million people who use it as first or second language.
In conclusion, the report reveals that Chinese is far most (much more?) widly used than any other language and that English and Chinese have more speakers than next five languages.
