Vocabulary

shoots

In the following sentences, it's hardly to catch the meaning of the word 'the shoots'.
What would be the best probable meaning do you think?
If any idea comes up, would you tell me some?

Thanks,
pb

So would you again take a look at them and let me know anything that occures to you?
