Shooting video

When you want to ask for a permission to take pictures at a public building, I understand to say "Can I take pictures here?" would be just fine, but in case of video what would be the proper expression(s)? "Can I take video here?" Or "Can I shoot video here" be more appropriate?

Also if you want to ask about using flash, would "Can I use a flash here?" be okay?

Thank you.
