Shift, switch or swap

In a part-time program, if a student is not able to attend a compulsory module of this time with student group A, he will need to make up this module in a later time with another group say group B.

-- can we call this " switch a module" or "swap a module", or "shift out from module for group A and shift into module for group B"?

In a part-time program, there are 2 groups, group A and group B. in the whole period of program, group A will take all the modules together in time set A (say first Monday-Tuesday of each month) and group B take all the modules together in time set B (say third Saturday-Sunday in each month). If a student in group A is not availalbe in time set A, he has to move to group B to take modules in time set B.

-- can we say this " transfer a group"?
