Im creating a computer software and this software is related to business. Every user that is logined is responsible for the money collects. So obviously every user opens a shift session and close it when they leave from the store.
I have two forms in my application for the two actions, to open and close the shift. I want the correct english sentence to declare the opening and closing shift.
"Open Shift Session"
"Close Shift Session"
in the close shift session user has to declare how much money he or she collected during his or her shift. How we call those money? "Turnover" ?
Please correct me.
Top answer
"Open Shift Session" "Close Shift Session" -- These seem fine to me. "Turnover" ? -- No.

-- No.
I would use "Cash Receipts" (there may be other terms as well).
