She washes her hands.

is it not correct if i just say "she washes hands"?

do i have to put "her" before the hands to make it sound more natural? or there's just no difference?

Not correct.

She washes hands. ~ She washes everybody's hands (possibly as a way of making a living?) This is not a very likely situation.

She washes her hands. ~ She washes only her hands, not the hands of other people.
