She was being ____ from the hospital.

Hi teachers,

Could you answer my question, please? I made up this sentence.

-She was being ____ from the hospital.

What's the correct verb above?

Basically, I want to say that she got out of the hospital, but I want to know how to use it in that structure particularly (passive voice). I don't think "Released" fits the context because it would sound as if she were a prisoner.

Thank you

Either released or discharged are fine. The continuous tense means that she was still in the process of signing all the papers, getting approvals, paying the bills, and so on.
