She had a group photo for her danching club.

She had a make up on his face.

"What's going on with her face." my son asked me.

"She put a make up on her face."

"She has a make up."

I told him.

You never refer to make up with an "a" you could say, "she is wearing make up on her face." Or "she put make up on her face."
