she is having a baby

Hi,

Do I understand correctly that "she is having a baby" means "she is expecting a baby"?
On the other hand, "she has (got) a baby" means that she gave birth to a child some time ago, etc.?

That's right. If the information comes from the hospital, however, 'She's having a baby' means that she is now giving birth.
