She has a flashback. At the time of high school

Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"She has a flashback. At the time of high school, Kelly walked from her home to the bus station every day. Suddenly she was hearing someone running behind her. It was Kevin, who is agitated after running to try to talk to her."

If a person has a flashback, I had to use past tense or present progressive?

Thanks.
