She did not betray ...

I have difficulty understanding the following sentence from "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo":

She did not betray with so much as a raised eyebrow that she was surprised, but she listened intently to every word that was said.

So, she was surprised. She didn't show that she was surprised. But did she raise her eyebrow? Or is it just a figurative way of saying that she showed absolutely no sign that she was surprised?

So, she was surprised. Yes She didn't show that she was surprised. Yes

But did she raise her eyebrow? No.

Or is it just
