She and I are not married?

I have looked around I cannot find a graceful way of presenting the sentence above. Using the usual rule of trying each member case one at a time, I get

She are not married and I are not married.

It's clearly wrong.

I can write:

She and I did not marry the other.

Or:

I did not marry her.

But, the I and her remove the mutuality of the agreement!

What should I do?

We are not married. = Both of you are single.
She and I are not married to each other. = We are not husband and wife.
