You might say this as:

"I gave myself a real bootcamp-style military haircut, 1/8 of an inch all around. I used the #7 blade on my electric clippers and just mowed it all off, like with a lawnmower."

Hi Rover, I have a question about razors.
Is this natural? Is it correct to say close shave?
You won't be able to get a close shave with blade #7 or #3 for that matter. You'll have to get rid of the blade.

Thank you Rover
