Sharp

I know that sharp can mean exactly like The meeting began at 8 o'clock sharp.

I only see it is used after a time like mentioned above.

But can I use it like this:

I got my first car at 18 sharp?

In this sentence I want to mean I got the car on the day when I exactly became 18. So is sharp used here right?

If not, how can I say it? I just want something that is not I got my first car on 18th birthday.

Thanks in advance.

If you want to be a bit more dramatic, you could say "I got my first car the minute I turned eighteen!"
