Share a verse

When we tell someone our ideas we say, Should I share one thing with you?

What about a holy verse? Supposing during a talk a holy verse relating to the topic occurs to me. I want to tell this to those I am talking to. Should I say 'Should I share a holy verse with you?' Is the use of verb 'share' correct here?

Or should I simply say, 'Should I tell you a holy verse?'
