Shaping up a beard

Hi

In my language, there is one proper word for 'shaping up a beard'. If you go to a hairdresser and use that single word he will understand what to do. He will:

trim your beard

set/align the top lines and the base line with a razor or trimmer, etc

Could you please tell me if there is one word or phrase that bearded people use when they go the their hairdresser? Or do they use something like this?

  1. I want my beard shaped up.
  2. I want my beard aligned.
  3. I need some trimming with my beard.

Thanks,

Tom
