Shall as a question?

Hi! everyone.Could you tell me,which one of my understanding about "shall" in question is right?
-Shall we dance?
-Shall we go there?
I think both are equivalent to "May we dance? and May we go there?"
Or Are the above sentences same as "Will we dance? and Will we go there"
Please tell me which one is correct understanding?

No. They are similar, but not equivalent. To my ear they are closer in meaning to these:

Would you like to dance (with me)? / Do you think it would be a good idea for us to dance?
Would you like to go there (with me)? / Do you
