I have got a very simple question.

Scotttiger09, there is no "simple" way to fully explain those two words. Briefly, (1) "Shall" in American English is often confined to questions: Shall we dance? Shall I open the door?

Actually, I am confused over here. Which one is correct from following and why?

- We shall do it?

- We should do it?

(1) Shall we do it? A definite question = Do you want to do it ? Do you agree to do it with me? (2) Should we do it? Less definite = Do you think it's a good idea to do it? What's your opinion? Shall we go downtown to a movie? Yes, let's go right now. Should we rent an apartment on X Street? No way! That's a dangerous part of town.
