1. Shakespeare has written several plays.
2. Shakespeare wrote several plays.
3. My brother has written several plays.
4. My brother wrote several plays.

I wonder which are grammatical.

Note that, although grammatically correct, #1 sounds odd. In a context like this, Shakespeare has written several plays would tend to suggest that he is still writing plays. Shakespeare wrote several plays would suggest that he no longer does.
