Shake the powder bottle to make it come out of it

Please pour some water in my glass.
You have to keep shaking the bottle to make the powder come out of it.
Please scoop/ladle some rice from the utensil and put it on my plate.

Please correct my sentences and suggest me better versions. I would also like to know a single word for the action that we do to make powder(that we use on our face) to come out of the small hole on their lid.

Powder bottle usually has a small hole on the top and we have to shake it to make the powder to come out of it so that we can apply on our face.

Yes I do powder my face sometimes when I go out in the hot sun.

I have one more question though.
It's not only about powder bottle. We also store crushed items like salt, sugar, chillie powder, etc. on a container and we don't use any scoop or spoon to come it out of the container. Simply, we shake it keeping its upside almost down. Do we say this
