Shadows

Hello!

Could you please help me better paraphrase the paragraph below? I have tried it myself but mine sounds too simple whilst the original paragraph is rather poetic!

“I embrace my shadow self. Shadows give depth and dimension to my life. I believe in embracing my duality, in learning to let darkness and light, peacefully co-exist, as illumination.”

I accept the darker parts of myself. With it, there is more contrast and meaning to life by having both good and bad parts of myself.

The good in myself shines forth and is easily loved, but it is incomplete and a shallow facade. The sinister in myself gives that necessary depth, so together, the good and the bad, I can be fulfilled as a complex human being.
