Shaded red ridges

Hi
Here, in this extract what's the structure of 'shaded red ridges' ? Is it 'red ridges' which are shaded? Or it is 'ridges' which are 'shaded red'? And is there any difference between 'shaded red' and red shaded' ?

My interpretation is that red modifies ridges, and shaded modifies red ridges.

So it is red ridges that are shaded.

Re shaded red and red shaded, it depends how they are used.
