Several noun questions.

I just read an article that is "A friend of the groom usually emcees the ceremony."

groom -> Isn't it supposed to be grooms? because a friend of my friends like this.

emcee -> Can I use host instead of emcee?

No. Not grooms. It can be groom or groom's, but not grooms (unless it's a same-*** marriage of two men).
