Settlement to / of the dispute

We should find a peaceful settlement to the dispute.

I saw this sentence in a newspaper and I thought "settlement of the dispute" is natural or is there a reason "to" is used?

Thank you so much.

Hans51 I saw this sentence in a newspaper and I thought "settlement of the dispute" is natural or is there a reason "to" is used? Both are OK; I suspect that 'to' is the more usual collocation, that is all.
