Settle a dispute

Hello people.

I need help solving a dispute with my girlfriend.
My sentence goes like this:

While changing for loop with while does increase performance, its amount is negligible.

Her's:

While changing for loop with while, the performance is increased and its amount is negligible.

Who's right and who's wrong? Or are we both wrong. Emotion: big smile

Both sentences, as written, are incomprehensible. What is: "changing for loop with while"? I'm a native English speaker in the US, and this phrase makes absolutely no sense to me.

Please provide some context to help us to respond.

For example, are you computer programmers who are talking about changing your coding by replacing a 'for loop' with a 'while loop'?
